Preparing for the Next Pandemic

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has selected UC San Diego as one of three institutions to lead the CHARM Network, a major initiative aimed at improving pandemic preparedness. As part of the five-year cooperative agreement, 51品茶 of Medicine researchers will study the spread of respiratory viruses and immune responses across diverse populations, serving as a central data hub for the nationwide effort.
